The European Commission presented its Green Paper “Adapting to climate change in Europe: options for EU action in June 2007. With this Green Paper, the EU puts adaptation on the agenda. The Green Paper discusses climate change, its action related to mitigating the causes, and the necessaity to also prepare for climate change and adapt to the consequences.
